The initial gif was made in the first week, as to give the gif more context there were simple instructions added so that people could follow them. the First attempt was made with the type being in upper and lowercase, but looking through the poster most of the ards are made in uppercase so that was changed as to achieve a cohesive look to it. So to reference some of the simpler card design the tracking was exaggerated as to give the otherwise aggressive uppercase some space to breathe.
This wave gif was initially quite calm in the waves but that was changed as to achieve a more efficient pattern to it because Instagram is not a platform where people are patient. Ideally, it should be a bit more busy to achieve this but it is what it is.
This design I also had to change in order to not have it look like a warning. This description of the project was initially very minimal and forgetful so it was edited to reference the other elements, this slide references the initial shapes and the stickers. the text was shortened so that is is more condensed. The use of the pattern draws the eye in and would lead you to want to scroll along.
As part of the research, Pat put up an Instagram poll on the LAU graphics Instagram and for that there was made an image inspired by one of the cards that had part of that saying in it. Initially, this poll was yellow but in order to keep with the idea that the slides were to be every other with the two colours, it was made square and orange. At the end on the poll, screenshots were taken that was placed on the slide as to showcase the poll taking.
