Screening concept

We started by writing everything about the movie.
Then we went into pairs of two to discuss what we had written that was common.
we found some, but not that many. but both of us referenced the alarm, crowd, consciousness, instructions, description and just for fun. these were the words we worked with.
the alarm or sound had to to with both the voice over and the constant alarm.
Consciousness is about the last part of the film where you find out where he has been the entire time and you did not notice.
The crowd had to do with the queue by the cinema.
instructions is a constant within the film so that one was an easy one.
description this is about the last scene where he switches from the narration to the description of where he actually is.
Just for fun is based on the interview with Liv as she just found it to be a fun film, so this word is all about having fun with it and it is about creating slight chaos.

Pitching the ideas
our final idea is an instruction based idea, you get a color ticket and that decides what you are to do, during the film.
The rationale sentence is: We are giving people instructions based on the film, this is to create a sense of forced control by grouping people.
everyone entering gets a piece of gum and the wrapping says what they are to do. There are only a couple of seats in the room as people are to be forced to stand, there are only some people allowed to sit, the rest has tasks at hand.
